Everything that moves water through a building.

Water heaters
Repair, replacement and tankless conversion. We carry 40, 50 and 75-gallon units on the van, plus expansion tanks and T&P valves. Same-day swap on most gas and electric tanks.

Drains & sewer
Kitchen stacks, floor drains, main-line clogs, root intrusion. Camera inspection with a written report and footage you keep — useful when a co-op board or landlord wants proof of what's in the wall.

Leak detection
Water stains on a ceiling don't tell you where the water started. We use acoustic and thermal detection plus pressure testing to find the actual source before anyone opens a wall — which is the difference between one repair and three.

Fixtures & bathroom work
Faucets, toilets, shower valves, tub-to-shower conversions, ADA grab-bar rough-ins. We work with the tile and stone already in the room and keep the dust to a minimum.

Commercial & building-wide
Restaurants, retail, small offices and residential buildings. Grease lines, backflow testing and filing, riser work, pump replacement, and after-hours scheduling so a job never costs you a service day.

Gas piping
New runs, leak testing, appliance connections and permits filed with the DOB. Licensed for gas work in all five boroughs.
02 — The night desk
Somebody is always awake at this number.
Most plumbing emergencies happen between 11pm and 5am, because that's when a building is quiet and a slow leak finally shows itself. Our phone is answered by a plumber, not a service — so the person you describe the problem to is the person who shows up with the right part.
Between 10pm and 6am we run a two-van rotation out of Liberty Street. If you're inside the Financial District, Battery Park, Tribeca or the West Village, we're usually at your door inside an hour. If you're further out, we'll tell you honestly how long it will be before you decide to wait.

- Shut the main. Basement, utility closet, or the riser in the hall. Turn it clockwise until it stops.
- Kill the power to any room with water near an outlet or fixture — at the breaker, not the switch.
- Open a low faucet to drain the lines and take pressure off the split.
- Photograph everything before you clean up. Your insurer and your landlord will both want it.
- Call us. Have the address, the floor, and whether the water is clean or grey.

04 — About the shop
Two brothers, one van, and a phone that rings.
NYC Plumber Co started in 2011 with a single van, a Master Plumber license and a phone number that got passed around the buildings on Liberty Street. The first job was a failed shut-off valve in a basement on Cedar — the super called back three weeks later with the whole building.
Fifteen years on, we're seven plumbers and four vans, still working out of the same address. What hasn't changed is who answers the phone. There's no call center between you and the person doing the work, and no upsell script. If a $90 part fixes it, that's what we'll tell you.
We're licensed and insured in New York City, backflow certified, and we file our own DOB permits. Every job gets a flat-rate quote in writing before a tool comes out of the van.
